04 - John and Rhonda Luongo House

VIEW OF GALLERY toward stair to main level
The gallery is center of circulation for first floor of the John and Rhonda Luongo House, Hillsboro, California. This austere space is defined by the plaster barrel vaulted ceiling and intersecting half vaults at doors to adjacent rooms. The painted medium density fiberboard sculpture pedestals, door surrounds, and random Idaho light gray mica slate flooring complete the materials selected for this gallery space.

Design by Albert Pastine, Architect in association with Rhonda Luongo, Interior Design, San Mateo, California. Lighting design by Michael Souter.
