03 - Laura and Carl Johnson Remodel
VIEW OF HUTCH from dining room
The freestanding hutch with cooktop cabinet on opposite side
separates the kitchen from the dining room. Indirect lighting is
directed from fixtures in cabinet valences, while task lighting
uses recessed fluorescent downlights. Seen beyond is the media cabinet, separating the
kitchen from the family room. The shadow colored laminate bases
continue the illusion of cabinets as furniture on legs.
